I don't eat that much red meat to begin with. But, I've been thinking about giving up meat. An experiment just to see the difference. So far I've only researched it. My hesitation is chicken and seafood are my main source of protein. Some of the "other" sources of protein are high in carbs and I have a mental block when it comes to carbs. Kind of silly now that I say it out loud :)

How do you like Shakeology?jillconyershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03398264402337362781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8020619129540658913.post-29532406770611019682012-02-28T22:55:44.521-06:002012-02-28T22:55:44.521-06:00well you listed my entire diet at the top of this ...well you listed my entire diet at the top of this post (well i mean, i do like fruits and veggies, but i love other things more), so inflammation city is where i constantly reside. :) i just learned this year that i LOVE brussel sprouts.ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07204889856385422586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8020619129540658913.post-19194432379649982962012-02-28T21:40:17.993-06:002012-02-28T21:40:17.993-06:001. Craziness!

I'm not anymore due to health issues that I encountered while living overseas (not a very vegan-friendly country over here, lol), and I've found my body responds better on a more, for lack of a better word, "typical" diet... But, I have been eating a lot cleaner recently which means cutting out a lot of processed foods and sugars. I've been baking our breads, making our tortillas and pizza crusts, and most recently I made ravioli from scratch so we can try to avoid excess sugars and salts. So far, so good. :)Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05790614672254668087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8020619129540658913.post-17304148716929392402012-02-28T21:05:25.386-06:002012-02-28T21:05:25.386-06:00I haven't eliminated any specific foods, but I...I haven't eliminated any specific foods, but I'm currently learning about weight-loss and marathon training and nutrition.... it's so complex the way foods work in your body!Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11073352095073103829noreply@blogger.com
