Three + 1 Things Thursday

1. First off, lets not forget what day it is...
Days like today make me appreciate how awesome the people in my day to day life really are. My team at work decided to throw  our own cinco de mayo celebration amongst ourselves complete with all sorts of Mexican food and non alcoholic Margaritas. The real alcohol margs will be later AFTER work with some of my drinking crew. I call it my drinking crew because there are several of us who will get together to brew beer, go to beer festivals, and try out different varieties we've never tasted before.

2. This weekend is my first back to back 1/2 marathon weekend!!! I'm excited / nervous and no idea what to expect. Saturday we will be racing in Kenosha, WI for the Wisconsin 1/2, then driving down to Kalamazoo, MI for the Borgess Run for the Health of It 1/2. One of the big accounts I work with has an office in Kalamazoo, and it just so happens a few of my members are running the race as well. I'm looking forward to finally meeting some of the people I have been working with for the last year.

3. Thanks to all who have given me advice and actual workouts to help train for speed by October's Las Vegas Ragnar. It's exciting to finally get back on track after my plethora of injuries and have a game plan that I'm confident I can execute.

+1 With all the excitement of planning another Ragnar Relay, I got to thinking- how fun would it be to have a blog / daily mile team- 12 people who strictly met through internet for our simple passion for running!! So I ask if anyone would ever be interested in doing one or helping put together a team. I love to travel (obviously), so location is not an issue to me - as long as its scenic. I would be more than happy to organize, as long as there are enough to begin with. Either comment on my blog, or email me @
jamesondirect@yahoo.com and let me know if you have a preference(s) on which relay you'd like to do.
