Allied Running Medal Hanger Review and Giveaway

Oh, how I've wanted my own medal hanger!  Can you believe I've had to put mine (along with S') on this triathlon medal holder for almost a year now?  It was better than throwing them in a drawer or shoebox, but I'm not a triathlete!  I am a half marathon runner!

I even blogged about the medal hanger I thought I wanted on my Christmas wish list post.  However, after Joel at Allied Steel gave me the chance to pick one to review, I realized that I needed one that is a bit bigger.  Where else would a girl put her half marathon medals, but on a "Half Marathon" hanger.  The one I chose is 13.5 inches x 3 inches.

I love it!  The style is sleek and sophisticated.  It was really easy to install, too.  S had no problems putting it up for me exactly where I wanted it.  I have 7 medals on it currently, and there is definitely room for 4 or 5 more.  I like the way they hang in a row (not on hooks). I put the medals up in the order I earned them.  I was so disappointed that the EWEB half didn't give out medals, as I had the perfect place to put another one!  When I complete the Amica Seattle Half this weekend (the Seattle Ghost Half does not have medals or shirts), I will just slide the others over and put the newest medal on the far right.
