Running is great for so many reasons, however there is a minor downside for me. Somewhere along the journey I lost my butt. I used to have what some would call a "ghetto booty" 'back in the day' and slowly but surely its gotten smaller and smaller.
2012 is devoted (among many things) to adding in more strength training and calisthenics into my workout routine. After many bootcamps torturing me with lunges, I found an old friend today--- Betty- my long lost booty
Welcome Home Betty :)

Welcome Home Betty :)
I love that your booty has its own name! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou name your booty hahaha! My husband says that's the one down side to running. That coming from a man who married me for my butt :)
ReplyDeleteAdd in a lot of squats and you'll start to see your booty again
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I initially lost mine too, but all the squats and s/t of the past two years brought her back. :)
ReplyDeleteI lost my booty too! I've always wanted more junk in the trunk but now, not only do I have no ass, but my boobs are gone too. Thanks swimming.
ReplyDeleteI have been doing Bodypump to try and perk up my booty. I think it's working!
ReplyDeleteLove the booty name!
ReplyDeleteRunning made my booty shrink just a little but it's still there, i'm happy cause I like it :)
Haha, nice!
