This was taken in the finish chute from this past weekend's Lake Lowell Half Marathon.
My question is how do you go from this 'look of determination'
To this, 'falling apart', in a matter of 3-5 seconds?
By far my WORST RACE PHOTO EVER
I can't help but think "I'm sexy and I know" everytime I look at this haha
When I saw this saturday night, Kim and I could NOT stop laughing. Got to be able to take the bad with the good I suppose.
I'd love to hear / see if any of you have some race photos where you are just like "what the heck am I doing"??
If you are willing to share, and have me share at some point on here with a link to you blog, I'd be happy to do so
All laughs can be sent to Lisarun2@gmail.com
haha. omg.i was thinking the same thing about some of my race photos from the weekend. it was like one im all into it and determined and the next i look like i may die. so funny.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Believe me, I have had much worse photos taken of me during a race. My last half, I only had one pic taken and I had the dumbest look on my face!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! We've all had those wtf pictures from races!!! You gotta laugh!
ReplyDeleteI don't know but there is something about actually running the race and feeling strong and determined, yet right after feeling like total crap or at least exhausted from all that effort...ha ha ha...love the photos, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI swear I think I have a crazy open mouthed pic in EVERY SINGLE RACE. My look of determination is one in which I look like I'm ready to catch flies with my tongue. Although, you do look like you're attempting a half smile :)
ReplyDeleteso funny-i’ve actually been planning a post around this but haven’t gotten around to it-Alma says i always have great race photos-but really, i share the good ones :) yours is pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteI never seem to look decent/good in any of my race pics!
ReplyDeleteBahaha, I haven't stopped laughing since Saturday. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteI just looked at the pics from the Flying Pig. I don't remember ever feeling as bad as I look in the photos!

ReplyDeleteumm don't know why it's spaced all weird. not my doing.
DeleteI know I am sooo late to comment, but I'm just overall way behind on all blogs and trying to catch up.
ReplyDeleteANYWAY, I have one that is so bad - the angle they were at laying on the ground, the bundled layers I was in since we were running at midnight in snow and ice .... sooo bad I had to pretty much block out my entire face. You couldn't see my face anyway - through all of my CHINSSSSSS!!!
